Dr Mugarura is a Ugandan General Surgeon who has spent most of his practice years serving in the Rural communities of Southwestern Uganda. He holds an MBA (2022), MMED Surgery (2013) and MBChB (2007). He is currently a Urology Fellow under the College of surgeons of East central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). Dr Mugarura is currently the Head of Surgery Department of Kabale University and successfully coordinated and hosted the recently concluded GILLS, VRIMS and Rural Urology workshop. His main area of focus is Medical training, Research and Innovation in surgery practice, Urology and Minimal invasive Surgery.
