MEN’S HEALTH MONTH

 JUNE IS MEN’S HEALTH MONTH!

A time to focus on improving men’s health and well-being.

💡 Here are some tips to keep in mind:

🏋️‍♂️ Stay active with regular exercise:
– Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise each week.
– Incorporate strength training exercises at least twice a week.
– Choose activities you enjoy, such as walking, cycling, or playing sports.

🥗 Eat a balanced and nutritious diet:
– Fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables at each meal.
– Choose whole grains over refined grains.
– Limit intake of processed foods, sugar, and saturated fats.

🩺 Schedule regular check-ups and screenings:
– Get annual physical exams to monitor your overall health.
– Stay up-to-date with screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes.
– Discuss any health concerns or symptoms with your healthcare provider.

🚭 Avoid smoking and limit alcohol consumption:
– Seek help to quit smoking if you currently smoke.
– Limit alcohol to no more than two drinks per day.
– Understand the risks associated with tobacco and excessive alcohol use.

🧘‍♂️ Manage stress through relaxation techniques:
